In this post, I will be sharing about how is animation used in different Creative Media Production.

Film and Television: 

Animation can be used as a supportive tool in live-action movies or to create entire animation films. Animation in film and television also enables visual effects and enhances their storytelling through amazing character animation, a surreal scenic animation and motion graphics.

Advertising and Marketing:

Animation in advertising and marketing often used as campaigns to grab attention of consumers and convey messages effectively. Designers usually create animated logos, explainer videos, product demonstrations, and animated banners for online advertising as it is more engaging and visually appealing.

Video Games: 

Animation is a basic element for video game development. It is used to give immersive feeling and interactive experiences for players as the creators give attention to character movements, facial expressions, cutscenes, and special effects within to make their game feels alive and interesting.

Web and App: 

As for websites and mobile applications, animation is used to enhance user experiences and the feels to digital interface, such as transitions, interactive elements, loading animations, storytelling, and visual feedbacks. 

Music Videos and entertainment: 

Animation in music videos often used to create visuals like surrealistic elements and artistic expression that impossible to achieve in real life. Animator work together with musicians and directors to bring their visions to life.

Social Media and Online Content: 

Animation in social media is very famous, such as short videos, GIFs, and animated memes that usually grabs users' attention and conveys messages quickly. It has become a popular form of communication and entertainment to online users.

Education: 

Animation in education has proven to be an effective tool in teaching and learning as it simplifies complex concepts. It is also widely used as animated educational videos, tutorials, and e-learning modules.

Virtual Reality (VR) and Augmented Reality (AR): 

To experience VR and AR, animation is a crucial component as it helps create immersive virtual worlds, lifelike characters including movements, gestures, and expressions simulation and interactive elements to enhance user engagement and the overall realism.

Architecture: 

Animation is used for architecture to visualize the designs through 3D modeling and animation software. They can create virtual walkthroughs of the proposed designs for the clients to clear visualize the concept of their designs. 

Manufacturing: 

Animation in manufacturing can help identify and rectify flaws early on by creating step-by-step visualizations of assembly procedures and highlighting the order of operations. This will save time and costs in manufacturing.

Simulation: 

In training and simulating industrial processes, animation is used to replicate real-world scenarios, such as equipment operation, maintenance tasks, and safety procedures in order to practice in a risk-free environment, to improve trainees' skills and knowledge before they engage with actual machinery or complex systems in real life.

My animation's previz: Concept, Inspiration & Sketches

Hi all! Salut! Today I will be sharing my animation project process, which is the early process of my animation project. In this animation project, I was given a task to create an animated short film titled "A Day in My Life". The main concept idea of my animation is to share my daily lives activities from the time I wake up till I get back to sleep. Since it is an animation film, so I will be including a real situation of what happen to me in my daily life, but some part of the character I create will be a little bit in a non-logic expression with an extra exaggerating movement. Moreover, I want to capture the audience's attention and hope they will find my animation film entertaining and not boring.    I have been gathering many inspirations from all the past animation, YouTube videos I had watch, scrolling through internet to find images that are related to the animation title and scene I will be using in my animation.  So, below are some of my sketches and brainstormi
